Behind the Scenes: The Making of Inferno Goddess
Welcome to the behind-the-scenes journey of the Inferno Goddess collection — a fragrance experience born from the pages of Jahquel J's captivating world. Get ready to dive deep into the creative process, the inspirations, and the passion that went into bringing this collaboration to life.
Inferno Goddess isn't just a fragrance — it's a story, a mood, and a memory captured in scent. Inspired by the dynamic characters of Capri and Quameer from Jahquel J’s Capri series.
Each scent in this collection tells a unique chapter of their love, struggle, and triumph. It's a tribute to the powerful women who embody strength, passion, and resilience. These fragrances are designed to make you feel confident, fierce, and unstoppable.
Our very first call was a meeting of minds, where we dove straight into the heart of this collaboration. We spent time discussing our favorite fragrances from the samples and why they resonated with us. Jahquel and I both have a deep love for scents that tell a story, that create an atmosphere, and transport you into a world of emotions.
When it came time to choose the fragrance, I knew exactly which direction I wanted to go in. I wanted something that would be bold and daring, yet comforting, with an element of warmth that felt like a safe embrace. The combination of sandalwood, vanilla, and smoky vetiver gives this fragrance a depth that feels both timeless and modern — a perfect fit for the powerful characters we were bringing to life.
"Fragrance is such a powerful way to connect with a story, and this collection allows readers to experience the world of Capri through more than just the pages of the book. It’s an intimate, sensory experience that I’m so proud to share with everyone." ~Ronni

Goddess (Pear & Patchouli)
Mood: Soft, Confident, Sensual, Bright, Warm

Step 1: Concept Development
The first step was all about brainstorming. We discussed the world these gods and goddesses come from and the emotions we wanted to evoke through fragrance.
Step 2: Selecting the Notes
Choosing the right notes was crucial to telling the story. For Inferno, we blended rich, smoky vetiver, creamy sandalwood, and the sweet warmth of Madagascar vanilla. The key was to balance the intensity of the fire with something smooth and luxurious. For Goddess, we focused on softer, earthy notes like patchouli and pear, with a touch of sweetness and mystery.

Step 3: Initial Formulation
Once we had the basic concept and notes in mind, we began creating the first versions of the fragrances. There were several iterations, each one a little closer to the vision we had for the scents.
Step 4: Testing and Refining
After we had a solid version, it was time for testing. We shared the fragrances with a small group of people to get feedback. The testing process wasn’t just about how the fragrance smelled in the moment; it was about how it evolved over time, how it lingered, and how it made people feel. We wanted something that would burn slowly, leaving a trail of power and elegance. With each round of testing, we fine-tuned the fragrance, tweaking notes and ensuring the scent told the exact story we wanted.
The Inferno Goddess Bottle: A Symbol of Divine Power
When it came to the bottle design, I wanted something that would feel timeless and reflect the powerful, dual nature of the Gods and Goddesses.
The square shape of the bottle is bold and strong, just like the infernal gods themselves. It represents their unyielding power, their ability to stand tall and unwavering, no matter the obstacles in their path.
The gold top adds a touch of luxury and elegance — a nod to the divine, to the royalty of these gods and goddesses. It’s regal, timeless, and speaks to the supernatural authority they carry. Gold has always been associated with wealth, strength, and leadership, and I wanted the bottle to feel like something a god or goddess would wield. What I love most about this design is that it works perfectly for both the masculine and feminine elements of the collection. The bottle’s strong, square shape speaks to the gods’ bold, unwavering power, while the elegant gold top balances that with a softer, more regal touch. It’s a reflection of the Inferno Goddess collection itself — powerful yet elegant, fierce yet refined, suitable for anyone who embraces that divine strength.
The smoke on the packaging isn’t just for effect; it represents the fire that burns the face of an enemy — it’s slow, intense, and hard to ignore. It’s about the force these gods use to scorch everything in their path, leaving behind a trail of power and transformation. The design reflects that unstoppable, unrelenting energy while keeping it elegant and mysterious.
