As busy Moms, we often forget about our own needs. That increases once school is back in session. We are often busy getting kids ready, getting ourselves ready, making breakfast, dinner, doing homework, running baths... the list can go on. Our individual needs can also go unaddressed. It's important to not neglect your skin needs so that you can keep that glow you had all summer long. Here are a few quick tips to help make your back-to-school skincare routine a breeze:

  1. Drink enough water: Being properly hydrated is essential to glowing skin. Water flushes out toxins through excretion, helps absorption, circulation and digestion. Drink at least 8-8 oz glasses of water a day.
  2. Create a minimalist skincare routine: Getting out of the house in the morning on time is critical with kids, so you may not have time to perform the 10-step Korean skincare routine. Going back to the basics is effective and efficient. Cleanse with a pH balanced cleanser, use a hydrating toner for your skin type, and a moisturizer or face oil for your skin type. We have made this really simple by numbering our skincare products, so you can quickly put together a solid 3-step skincare routine. We also have the back-to-school bundle which includes a 3-step system with products that all work synergistically.
  3. Skip your cleanser: I know you are screaming at your screen right now, but hear me out. I don't suggest skipping washing your face all together, but occasionally if you don't have time to wash your face with a cleanser, it's perfectly okay to wipe your face down with a hydrating toner. If you go this route, make sure to double cleanse or deep clean your face at night. Be sure to follow up with a proper moisturizer.
